This course will introduce the students to the concept and application of technical analysis, the various technical indicators, and investment decisions using technical tools. It emphasises the different techniques and strategies used in technical analysis software, employing both basic and advanced technical indicators in analysing the investment decision of a single asset. A basic understanding of technical analysis includes understanding charts, patterns, and trends, as well as the formation of price movements. Next, this course covers the construction of technical indicators. It would include several common technical indicators most technical analysts employ and some advanced patterns in the Japanese Candlestick chart. To enhance the students? The applet presents an angle (initially obtuse) that the user can adjust by dragging the end points of the line segments forming the angle. As it changes it shows the angle measure and a message that indicate which type of angle it is. There a software 'detents' that make it easy capture exact angles such as 90 degrees and 180 degrees The message and angle measures can be turned off to facilitate classroom discussion. Explore the interactions that cause water and oil to separate from a mixture. Oil is a non-polar molecule, while water is a polar molecule. While all molecules are attracted to each other, some attractions are stronger than others. Non-polar molecules are attracted through a London dispersion attraction; polar molecules are attracted through both the London dispersion force and the stronger dipole-dipole attraction. When oil and water are mixed, the dipole-dipole interactions are disrupted, but constant molecular motion allows the stronger dipole-dipole attractions to partition the polar molecules from the mixture. The force of attractions between molecules has consequences for their interactions in physical, chemical and biological applications.

This new online version of the Educational CPU Visual Simulator allows users to visualize with detailed animations the execution of assembly language code. Its main goal is to support novices in understanding the behavior of the key components of a CPU, focusing on how code written in high-level languages is actually executed on the hardware of a computer.
It supports a simplified but representative assembly language of 16 (Data Transfer, Control Flow, Arithmetic-Logic) instructions, with immediate and direct addressing modalities. Instructions and numeric data can be inserted and edited directly in RAM. It is possible to define “labels” to be used as parameters in jump instructions, or as variable identifiers. The speed and level of detail of the animations can be controlled by the users. At any time, it is possible to switch between symbolic and binary representations.
