This article features activity books and polar-themed children's literature for use in the elementary classroom.
The course is a survey of models for analyzing and supporting design and decision-making in multi-actor settings. Participants: will learn to recognize the difference between games and decisions, and will identify their occurrence in public policy. will be able to apply a principled technique for resolving dilemmas through the appropriate selection of policies. will learn to formulate, design and communicate games and decisions. will learn to implement by computer (and otherwise logically analyze) games and decisions.
The Processing Integrity Challenge makes use of game theory to help students learn how to determine relevant application controls for accounting systems to ensure processing integrity is achieved. It specifically addresses source data, data entry, processing, and output controls. The playing format is an adaptation of the television game show, Jeopardy, which is a novel way to reinforce concepts and provide immediate feedback to confirm students' knowledge.

In this activity, students will play a bingo game in order to help practice recognizing radicals used in Chinese characters. Students will be shown a radical, and will then search for a vocabulary word that contains that radical. Students will also practice tones and pronunciation by reading out their winning vocabulary at the end of each round of bingo.
Create your own sandwich and then see how many sandwiches you can make with different amounts of ingredients. Do the same with chemical reactions. See how many products you can make with different amounts of reactants. Play a game to test your understanding of reactants, products and leftovers. Can you get a perfect score on each level?

This Scratch game is about programming the sprite through the labyrinth. When the sprite touches the colour spots, they need to change colour. When the sprite touches an animal, they need to make the sound. When the sprite touches the words, they need to say the words. Students use while programming in this game only the basic Scratch blocks that are implemented in our unplugged Scratch package.

The goal of this module, developed at Gustavus Adolphus College for the InTeGrate project, is to introduce college students to the general concepts of scientific theory versus facts, scientific certainty and the role experts particularly in the context of climate change.
