Instructional Materials Review
OSPI is seeking educators to work in grade band teams to develop a list of high quality instructional materials for mathematics that districts can use to help them decide on new materials to implement or to support the materials they are using now.
Team members will be trained and will then work both synchronously and asynchronously to review materials for their alignment with Washington's educational priorities for mathematics.

Modeling Our World with Mathematics
There are two big changes for MOWWM this year.
1) MOWWM is moving to Canvas! Moodle will be retired in 2023. If you are using materials from that site, email Arlene Crum, arlene.crum@k12.wa.us, to request enrollment in the new Canvas version of the course. The OERCommons.org version of the course will continue to be available.
2)There is now an ongoing Professional Learning Cohort to support the use of the modules. Sessions to help teachers implement the Topics are held monthly via zoom with recordings of the sessions also available. Discussion boards provide opportunities to ask questions, share resources and receive updates. All members of the Canvas course have access to the PLC and discussions.
