Subject: Proposal for Lecture Series.
Greetings.
Hope this request finds you in best of health and spirits.
I wish to propose a lecture series on 'Contemporary Global Issues', to be developed in CEC Studios for the benefit of students, faculty, media, independent learners amongst others.
The proposed topic is of multidisciplinary nature, therefore will be of interest for International Relations, Political Science, Economics, International Business, amongst others. The topic has its bearing for academic and non-academic fraternity as these issues are being debated and redefined on a fast pace in present scenario.
Each lecture is slated to be of 25-30 minutes, covering diverse aspects of each topic.
The proposed lectures themes are as follows:-

Students, faculty, media, independent learners amongst others.
Aims and objectives:-
To develop understood of issues of international relations.
To be able to understand linkages of international and domestic with reference to contemporary issues under study.
To present a comprehensive analysis of causes & consequences of each issue, with special focus on recent developments and thereby instill problem solving approach.
To present a holistic and multidisciplinary platform for learning.

Brief Synopsis about the series :-
The lecture series present various topics for study to ensure international, cross discipline and comparative studies for better understanding on issues of global politics.
The lectures cover issues of significance which not only have a bearing on global politics but also impact all of us & affect our daily lives too.
The lectures attempt to equip us with inputs on recent developments, data, perspectives, processes/interconnections, outcomes involved, amongst others.
By drawing insights from International Relations, Comparative Politics, Sociology, International Business, Political Economy, learners can then better understand how issues emerge, debate on why particular
policy choices are made (or not made) to cater to them and what other viable potential alternatives there might be.
Develop deeper comprehension & understanding of the issues which have commonality in various nations of the world.
Elaborate on similarities and differences among different nations in response to common problems of the world.
Analysis of political institutions, culture, and economy of different political systems
to understand what factors have an impact on the outcomes.
Promote sharper critical thinking skills to assess impact and significance of global problems.
