The following list includes words, phrases, or jargon that may be used in today's session.

Creative Commons: A public copyright license that allows work to be freely distributed.

EPP: Educator Preparation Program

In-service teachers: Teachers who are currently working as full-time teachers in K-12 school districts.

MSI: Minority Serving Institution (Examples: Hispanic Serving Institution or Historically Black College and Universities)

OER: Open Education Resources, meaning resources that are not licensed and can be open shared and used.

LMS: Learning Management System (Ex: Blackboard, Canvas, Desire2Learn)

Teacher educator: Faculty in EPPs who teach future teachers

Teacher candidates: College students who are in an educator preparation program, practicing to become teachers.
