While repeating and applying the input they will develop their listening and reading skills and get an understanding of the recent trends in Germany. Furthermore, students will acquire the competency to compare certain aspects of life in Germany and the US through the final listening activity.

Through providing an overview about food habits and the recent trends in the fast food culture in German-speaking countires, students gain knowledge in that field and become more confident in ordering food as they have to practice real world situations. This activity also contains a brief introduction to influences from other countries and cultures as well as immigration.

Students learn the differences between living in the U.S. and living in Germany.  Students will view photos of German apartments and compare them to  houses and apartments in the United States. Then students will design their own Airbnb using photos and filling out the attached information sheet, they will share their Airbnb to the group.
