We have designed an Oregon Open Learning User Guide which contains professional learning modules that outline the knowledge and skills you will need to make full use of the Oregon Open Learning Hub. Start with the first module, OER Basics, and gauge your readiness to fully participate in the Oregon Open Learning community. Review the Learning Targets and the associated learning resources, which are linked in the User Guide, and also permanently housed in this group. If you haven’t already, join this group by following these instructions:
Request membership in the Oregon OER Professional Learning group.
Click the link above, then click the “Join this Group” green button.
This week we present the second installment in our Professional Learning Video Series: "Curating Resources in a Group." We also created the Oregon Open Learning Curation Review Tool to guide the intial evaluation of OER before adding a resource to a group or to a folder within a group. You'll want to start with developing your understanding of the OER Basics and then jump into curating resources on our Hub by watching the video and then using the tool to add OER to groups!
This week the Oregon Open Learning Team has the following updates to share:
Here’s an FAQ where you can find answers to frequently asked questions about OER and Oregon Open Learning Hub.
When you’re finished getting your questions answered, we encourage you to take a look at other hubs on the OER Commons site. What do you see on other hubs that we may want to consider in Oregon? Add your thoughts to the Hub Exploration discussion thread.

Participant responses to the "What if we..." question on Mentimeter from both of the launch events are available for you to view.
Office Hours: The Oregon Open Learning Team will be available from 2:00-3:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in June. No need to register, just drop in using this meeting information:
