Statistics Project Applications

Looking for some good ideas and/or collaboration to create some industry specific statistic projects that students could complete every few chapters. In order to get students more aware of the many different uses of statistics. A few ideas so far

  • Olympic Event Times/Injuries/Recovery Time
  • Species Extinction in Developed Countries
  • Economic Conditions Before  Depression

Hi Wendy,

I've been thinking about developing some research activities and videos for my introductory-level statistics course at Palm Beach State College. I was also thinking about making industry-specific topics, perhaps by collaborating with professors at my college who teach industry-specific courses.
