Info about copyright in the time of COVID
by Aubree Evans 3 years, 5 months agoHello,
During today's check-in, someone asked if the Classroom Use Expection law that states that copyrighted sources cannot be used in online classes might have changed during COVID, when synchronous classes moved online. I did some digging, and I found the following resources that may be helpful:
- https://www.csun.edu/sites/default/files/Copyright%20Guidance.pdf
In a nutshell, it looks like the rules around this are still pretty blurry. But the main takeaway is that the laws haven't changed during COVID.
