This is a set of documents intended to teach 80% of the Qur'an to learners. The philosophy is that since many of the words in the Qur'an are repeated, 80% of it can be learned quickly and easily by knowing what to focus on. Included are lists of vocabulary separated into genre, such as pronouns and ways to say 'no', verbs and verb conjugation charts, grammar charts detailing active and passive participles, and more. Many of the documents are in PDF as well as in Excel so that changes can be made to the templates, i.e. translation into other languages if desired.

This Arabic-English dictionary of the Qur'an is not compiled in the traditional, alphabetical way, but rather by chapter and word order in the Qur'an. The list is available both for viewing online as well as via downloadable PDF documents. Prepositions and attached pronouns are included in the list alongside full words. The word list doesn't include every single word in a particular verse if that word has been mentioned before, i.e. ____ is only listed once in the Surat al-Fatiha vocabulary despite being in the chapter twice. Roots of longer words are frequently given.

This website is for those who would like to explore the Qur'an in a variety of languages. Users can view the Qur'an by chapter or by section (divided into 5 sections as well as into 30). The exegesis for the reasons of the Qur'an's revelation (Asbaab an-Nazuul) is included as are seven different tafasir, or exegeses. Translations of the Qur'an into 66 different languages are also found on the website; some languages have more than one translation available. In addition to information and articles about Islam in English, this website also offers a complete copy of the Qur'an in Arabic and in transliteration with more than thirty English translations. This site separates out the translations by verse and divides them into "generally accepted translations of the meaning," "controversial, deprecated, or status undetermined works," and "non-Muslim and /or orientalist works."

This website aims to teach the basics of Arabic to enabler users to read the Qur'an. The website breaks down YouTube video lectures into six levels of lessons, starting with the Arabic alphabet and working up through more complicated rules of recitation. Lessons also include letters that can be clicked on to see how they are drawn and word combinations with audio components so learners can hear how they are properly pronounced. This is a link to 58 different verb charts. Each verb is chosen due to its relative frequency in the Qur'an. Each chart includes the meaning of the word, its masdar, the different ways it can be conjugated in both past and present, negation and imperatives, duals, and the active and passive participles and their plurals. The charts can be viewed online or downloaded as separate PDF files.

This blog focuses on teaching the Arabic Qur'an and how to recite it properly using tajweed. The strategies and materials presented are intended to be used with children versus teenagers, although some strategies for teaching the language to teenagers are also presented. Such a translation clearly shows where each word and its meaning is placed in the Arabic text if there is any confusion about the English translation of a particular verse.
