Standards: 2.1.W.2 Students will work respectfully within groups, share responsibility for collaborative work, and value individual contributions made by each group member. 2.6.W.3 Students will organize and present their information in written and/or oral reports or display.Lesson/Tasks: Students are to choose an animal to research about. Students are to research information about the animals environment, how long they live, where they live, how the animal takes care of itself, food to eat, etc. The first task is for students to research this information. They will do this in groups of two or three. The second task is students organizing this information in a clear and orderly way. They can do this on posterboard, through a diorama, etc. Students will research this information with the resources provided by the teacher.
