Students will examine injustice in history and in current times when Asian Americans, specifically Japanese Americans in Oregon, experienced government sanctioned racism. Students will also explore contemporary examples of anti-Asian racism and share ways they can act against injustice they see or experience in everyday life. Students will draw comparisons between approaches to resistance across identities and experiences.
