This is the second volume in a series of four books, first published in 1919. The series treats Arabic grammar in a highly technical way and was written to expand up the foundational Arabic text, Wright's Grammar. This volume of Elementary Arabic is divided into four sections of readings, including extract from the Qur'an, stories of warriors, hadith, and historical extracts. It ends with a glossary and a grammatical analysis of the readings.

The UCLA Phonetics Lab Archive includes samples taken from Egyptian, Iraqi, Najdi, North and South Levantine, and Tunisian dialects. The Arabic recordings consist almost exclusively of word lists read aloud to illustrate small differences in the pronunciation of the words. The Phonetics Laboratory includes recordings of hundreds of languages and provides them for free as source materials for phonetic and phonological research. Phonetic transcriptions are included alongside the recordings as are translations and scans of original field notes where relevant.

The four dictionaries are the Universal Dictionary, Wictionary, Wikipedia, and Omegawiki. Each of these dictionaries are also available for online use as well for those who don't want to download the information.

Wictionary is a free dictionary that gives definitions in 170 different languages. The dictionary only gives definitions within the language, not from language to language. Intended as a lexical companion to the encyclopedia project Wikipedia, Wictionary includes etymologies, pronunciations, quotations, synonyms, and antonyms where appropriate. Users can add definitions by creating an account. Certain words for Arabic also include masdars. An audio component is included for certain languages, Arabic not among them.

This website links to a document that is a dual translation of the Qur'an into English, first word by word and then sentence by sentence. Such a translation clearly shows where each word and its meaning is placed in the Arabic text if there is any confusion about the English translation of a particular verse. Users can type with letters, but also the numbers that are often employed in modern Arabic texting as substitutes for some Arabic letters (such as 3 for 'ein or 9 for SaD).
