In this lab, students will discuss where they live, the furniture they have in their home, and where one might be able to shop for certain household items. Students will learn how to describe furniture, housing, and useful household items. Students will also express opinions about furniture and where they prefer to live.

In this activity, students will create conversations about random topics, they will think words about a specific topic and then with those words, they should hold a fluent conversation in a period of time. Students will learn how to share their thoughts and opinions about specific topics and be respectful with the point of view of someone else. 

Students will learn which languages are spoken in which countries as well as be able to recognize Spanish accents from around the world. Students will learn more about accents from different Spanish-speaking countries by recognizing the differences in played recordings.

Students are going to play a categories game as their warm up, and then create questions to be used in the next activity. As a category is displayed on the screen, students will go around and say things that fall under that category. They will use example questions to create their own.

Students will be able to ask for directions, information, and recommendations in the target language. Students will also learn to provide directions and information to other students. Students will play a game of "Chutes and Ladders" and answer trivia questions in the target language.

The students will start by having a simple conversation. Then they will move into a speed dating activity. They will be using the questions that they created during the previous activity. To wrap things up they will talk about how they are going to practice their Spanish over break.
