In this activity, students will practice selling and buying vocabulary. they will be able to buy/sell a product and discuss the cost, along with sharing the names of items they bought.Can-Do Statements:I can ask how much something costs.I can sell a product to someone and discuss the price.I can share with a friend what I purchased at a market.

In this Activity, students will talk about beautiful emotions, asking and answering questions about things they did for the first time in their life and how it felt, as well as sharing a happy memory they remember.Can-Do Statements:I can talk about the first things I did in my life, and how it felt.I can talk about the last memories I remember of a specific situation.I can share my best memory with a friend.

In this Activity, students will practice reading daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks and schedules. as well as reading time. They will also discuss a task or activity they enjoy completing on time.Can-Do Statements:I can identify the Arabic words for daily, weekly,  monthly, and yearly when presented to me.I can describe a character's daily schedule, highlighting the activities and their times.I can discuss a task I enjoy completing on time, along with my preferred timing for doing so.

In this activity, students will practice the supermarket vocabulary. they will identify the sections and products found in the supermarket, ask and answer questions and directions, and read the supermarket list with a partner.Can-Do Statements:I can recognize and name different sections and products found in a supermarket in Arabic.I can ask for assistance and directions from a supermarket employee in Arabic.I can read a shopping list in Arabic and find the items on the list in a supermarket.

In this activity, students will practice talking about special occasions through Middle Eastern culture and their own culture. they will practice forming a sentence and have a discussion about the cultural difference when it comes to special occasions.Can-Do Statements:I can recognize and use vocabulary related to special occasions in Arabic.I can form sentences using vocabulary related to special occasions in Arabic.I can discuss cultural differences in the ways that special occasions are celebrated in different countries.

In this activity, students will review some of the topics they were practicing in the past activities, such as, how to talk about themselves and others, How to ask and answer daily simple questions, and how to engage in a basic conversation in Arabic.Can-Do Statements:I can introduce myself and others in Arabic.I can ask and answer daily simple questions in Arabic.I can engage in a basic conversation with a partner in Arabic.

In this lab students will share their interpretations on artwork. They will discuss how they can talk about art and express their opinion with a partner or in a group. Students will answer questions across different time frames (past, present, future).

The week before, students were asked to bring in a representation of their artistic self-expressing to share with others in the group. In this lab, they will be sharing those experiences and representations. Students will be given a short, 10 word, fingerspelling quiz from the lab assistant.

In this activity, students will practice asking someone they meet where they are from and their nationality. Students will start by asking each other what country they are from, and then each student will be given a country card at random. Students will practice using vocabulary to persuade others to buy a product and make deals with others when purchasing the product.

This activity will expose students to using money and auction related signs. Students will practice numbers in ASL and will also use adjectives to describe items that they can sell and buy.

In this activity, students will have the opportunity to practice using money and math skills to bid on items in an "auction". Students will also experience what actions are like for Deaf individuals.
