Students will practice speculating about the past and present in regards to events that have happened. They will also discuss the environment and technology. Students will learn how to describe technology, parts of a car, and solutions to problems that come with technology in the future. 

Students will practice initiating conversations, sharing their personal opinions, and giving their preferences. Students will discuss their daily use of technology and who they stay in contact with on a regular basis. They will practice different scenarios and express how they would handle a situation.

In this lab, students will discuss where they live, the furniture they have in their home, and where one might be able to shop for certain household items. In this activity, students will create conversations about random topics, they will think words about a specific topic and then with those words, they should hold a fluent conversation in a period of time. Students will learn how to share their thoughts and opinions about specific topics and be respectful with the point of view of someone else. 

Students will learn which languages are spoken in which countries as well as be able to recognize Spanish accents from around the world. Students will learn more about accents from different Spanish-speaking countries by recognizing the differences in played recordings.

Students will be able to exchange information about recycling, the environment, and animals around the world. Students will learn how to describe nature and explain their opinions regarding the environment. Students will also be able to communicate with others and present their opinions to the rest of the class on their ideas on nature.

In this activity, students will be exposed to a variety of music genres and artists from the Spanish-speaking world. Students will work on becoming more informed about different types of music and backgrounds of various artists. Through listening to snippets of songs and a JIGSAW activity, students will collect information about a singer and share it with each other.
