In this activity, students will practice identifying where they can buy certain items. Students will also work on asking a partner what their likes are and use these characteristics to come up with a potential gift for them. This activity has been revised to add an authentic resource as an interpretive reading activity to scaffold for the interpersonal speaking activity, also attached.

In this activity, students will ask their partner questions to create an appropriate schedule of activities. Students will describe their daily activities and routines. Students will learn how to describe time, activities, and days of the week. They will also learn how to ask questions regarding time and activities.

In this activity, the lab assistant will work as the server and the students will be guests at a restaurant. The students will practice ordering food, discussing what is wrong with the food, and paying for their meal.

In this activity, students will use vocabulary to describe what they eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students will also be able to identify whether or not the meal is nutritious and healthy. Students will learn more about how to describe food and health. Students will also learn more about reading and understanding nutrition facts. 

In this activity, students will discuss Spain's New Year's 12 grape tradition, going on dates in their own city, and their own holiday traditions. This activity could be modified from focusing primarily on the L1 culture to the L2 culture in order to integrate more culture into the activity. This activity is more conversation-based and less culture-based, though it does discuss some Spanish traditions.

Students will talk about fun events and things to do in Spanish speaking countries. They will practice how to reject or accept an invitation, emphasizing a polite way to explain why you can or can't go. They will also decide on ways to discuss what they did at an event or activity with friends.

In this activity, students will review and practice naming their body parts in Spanish. They will also use the vocabulary they already know to give clues to their classmates to describe a body part.

Students will further review topics they have covered this semester as well as be able to answer questions about personal preferences.
