This website links to a document that is a dual translation of the Qur'an into English, first word by word and then sentence by sentence. Such a translation clearly shows where each word and its meaning is placed in the Arabic text if there is any confusion about the English translation of a particular verse. The document is available separately chapter by chapter under the 'lughat' button of this website and also for sale via Amazon, although downloading is permissible via this website.

The ACTFL Writing Proficiency Test is designed to rate students' writing skills and is offered for various languages, including Arabic. The exam can be administered to students at the ACTFL Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Superior proficiency levels who are in grades K-12 schools, college, or to those who are adults. The length of the exam is 90 minutes and it is available on-demand via the internet or in booklet form. It is rated by ACTFL Certified WPT Raters.

Yamli Editor is a "smart keyboard" that allows users to type using a Roman-alphabet keyboard and transliterates the words into Arabic text. Users can type with letters, but also the numbers that are often employed in modern Arabic texting as substitutes for some Arabic letters (such as 3 for 'ein or 9 for SaD). Under the "quick tips" icon, Yamli offers a list of all the substitutions for Arabic letters that do not have exact equivalents in English.

ArabiCorpus is an enormous, searchable corpus of Arabic literature that allows the user to find Arabic words in the contexts in which they are used by native writers. The corpus database includes material from newspapers, modern literature, classical sources, and Egyptian colloquial sources. Users can limit their search to be as specific as they wish. Search terms can be entered in Arabic or with Latin character transliterations. Users must create a login account in order to view detailed information and instructions for using the corpus.
