O Atlas Bacia Hidrográfica do Paraguaçu sob diferentes perspectivas, constitui um dos Produtos Técnicos Educacionais da dissertação intitulada “Percepções e mapeamento de conflitos socioambientais relativos à água nos limites da bacia hidrográfica do Paraguaçu”. O atlas tem como objetivo apresentar a Bacia Hidrográfica do Paraguaçu (BHP) a partir de proxies de conflitos socioambientais registrados em seu território, por meio de uma perspectiva multidisciplinar e interdisciplinar, sob diferentes aspectos.

These Pre-Chemistry online modules are designed to function as chemistry preparation for first year chemistry students. It is particularly useful for students who, for various reasons, are otherwise not confident in their preparation for first year university level chemistry. However, the module can be used as a practical and valuable review for all students. The module focuses on the development of fundamental numeracy and problem solving skills that are widely applicable to students in a variety of first year chemistry courses including those directed to students in life science, engineering and natural and physical sciences. These modules function effectively in both online, hybrid or even as preparation for entirely traditionally delivered courses.

The PhET project at the University of Colorado creates "fun, interactive, research-based simulations of physical phenomena." This particular one deals with Beer's Law. "The thicker the glass, the darker the brew, the less the light that passes through." Make colorful concentrated and dilute solutions and explore how much light they absorb and transmit using a virtual spectrophotometer! The simulation is also paired with a teachers' guide and related resources from PhET. The simulation is also available in multiple languages.

In this unit students will analyze and manipulate functions in order to apply them to real-life optimization (minimum/maximum) situations.

Secondary educators across Lebanon County, Pennsylvania developed lesson plans to integrate the Pennsylvania Career Education and Work Standards with the content they teach. This work was made possible through a partnership between the South Central PA Workforce Investment Board (SCPa Works) and Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 (IU13) and was funded by a Teacher in the Workplace Grant Award from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. This lesson plan was developed by one of the talented educators who participated in this project during the 2018-2019 school year.

This lesson is about the historical processes leading up to the British North America Act of 1867 and Canadian Federation. Aboriginal Peoples’ contributions to Canadian history have been underrepresented, sometimes wholly ignored, in textbooks and K-12 schooling. This lesson aims to have students discover and reflect on these contributions, which will reorient Canadian history.This lesson will be for students in grades 7, 8 or 9.Pedagogical Approach:This lesson will incorporate the Question Formulation Technique, as well as the K-W-L process (what we already KNOW, what we WANT to know, what we have LEARNED).Learning Objectives:a. Practice using cause and effect reasoning to determine how events are related and why they occurred.b. Become familiar with key historical events and activities, and the different parties involved.c. Reflect on why Aboriginal contributions have been underrepresented in “official” accounts of Canadian history.
