Students will act out a popular movie trailer in the target language. Keeping with the original plot of the movie, students have to act out the trailer as if it were a different genre.

Student will practice describing their schedule based on the different days of the week. Students will practice discussing different school subjects and their daily schedule.

In this activity, students practice their memorization skills by discussing what they buy at the grocery store. Students will also practice asking and answering questions about their daily routine, what they like to eat, and where they shop.

Students will ask each other about their hobbies and what they enjoy doing during their free time. They will need to be paying attention so that they can present each other's answers.

Students will get to learn about a German holiday for the Warm-up. They will answer questions in full sentences regarding their daily routines.

Students will practice using their family-related vocabulary to build each other's family trees.

Students will go through an orientation presentation and quiz to cover the lab rules and philosophies. They will also introduce themselves to the class.

Students will have a “Meet and Greet” party where they will pretend to be the person on their card, such as Heidi Klum. They will introduce themselves and greet other people, taking into account the times of the day and their feelings review the different greetings.

Students will identify clipart figures and assess how they would address them with a question using "Sie" or "du." 

Students will practice the days of the week and describe their daily/weekly schedule.

Students will review adjectives they know and talk about how often they do things.

Students will answer and discuss questions relating to job interviews and different professions. They will begin to go over learning the names of professions in German.

 Students will work within a budget to find pieces of furniture to decorate their dorm room.

Students will converse and answer discussion questions related to their typical living expenses and accommodations.

Students will practice telling the time from visual and verbal cues. They will also practice responding to situations with separable prefix verbs.

Students will review vocabulary words relating to food, using a game of Heads Up. Then, they will practice using those words with a card game that requires them to match words with the picture.

In this activity, students will practice talking about travel and where they would like to visit. Students will pretend to be another person and respond to questions about travel as if they were that person.

Students will work together to match German sights to their descriptions and try to find interesting facts about a couple of the Sights that they would like to know more about. 

Students will practice talking about medical issues they may come across. Students will also practice coming up with solutions to common health issues.
