Students will practice exchanging opinions on certain topics related to social media and technology.
Students will practice coming up with their own news stories using pictures and headlines provided.
Students will work on their interpretive skills by listening to a news story and explaining what they thought happened. They will later present their findings to the whole class.
Students will practice defending their opinions and beliefs by taking stances on different topics. They will practice being able to explain their reasons for being in each position.
Students will practice asking each other questions related to the different topics they learned about in the class.
Students must try to formulate questions related to the topics on the bingo card. This is to help the students get to know each other in their target language.

In this activity, students will be playing a traditional bingo-style game (Lotería) in which they will listen to vocabulary and interpret what the word is in English. After the instructor has completed reading the lotería cards for the first round, the students will also have the opportunity to practice reading the Spanish words aloud.
